Hi Everyone -

I have not been able to find anything on diet for Hashimoto's (foods to add / foods to avoid). Do you have any suggestions for links or books on the subject? Thanks in advance.

Hello happie2010 (I like your screen name) Smiley

I would consider getting the book I have posted on my top post on this forum. It helps you figure out what might be your first line of defense for your particular case. However, an anti-inflammatory diet (you can search that and come up with a lot of ideas on google) is always a great start.

Check out my homepage and the health tab for other links to nutrition ideas. There is new info on Iodine though and it is now very much seen as a possible participator of flare ups for Hashi's so Hashi's demands a bit more care in determining the best diet for this disease.

Hope this helped.

Maybe others will have more ideas.
